NSW Rugby Development Officers and a handful of NSW Waratahs turned out at Seven Hills’ Grantham Reserve all day yesterday for over 300 boys and girls at the Macquarie Bank Clinic.

Among the ten development officers were the likes of Taqele Naiyaravoro, Jake Gordon, David Horwitz, Andrew Kellaway, Hugh Roach, Brad Wilkin, David Lolohea and Irae Simone helping out on a number of skills and drills.

NSW Rugby Female Development Officer Caitlin Aquilina said that the rain wasn’t enough to get in the way of a good day.

“It was a great turnout to the Macquarie Bank Clinic, with juniors coming predominantly from the Hills District and Western Suburbs,” said Aquilina.

“There was a good mix of girls who have never tried rugby before or are converting from other sports.

“NSW staff are able to use these program in order to help the development of players, the importance of our values and behaviours in which we try to live by in our organisation and to promote the enjoyment of our game.”

The NSW Waratahs will take on the Western Force on Saturday night at 7:45pm, AEST. You can watch all the action live on Fox Sports – of if you can’t get in front of the TV, you can follow our live match centre or Twitter feed!
