Catholic Primary Schools Development

Rugby is about developing the child.

Rugby Union in our Catholic primary schools is coordinated and run by the New South Wales Catholic Primary Schools Sports Association (NSW CPSSA)

NSW Rugby Union is a sponsor of the NSW CPSSA and works with them to support and grow Rugby within the Catholic primary school sector.

NSW CPSSA conduct a number of competitions and carnivals across the state.

The best known of these is the State Wide Knockout competition for Catholic primary school teams under the age of 12 years) which had 86 schools compete in 2005.

There are a range of other competitions conducted on a local basis depending on where your school is located. To find out more – contact your local NSW CPSSA representative or call NSW Rugby Union on 02 9323 3430.
