How NSW Rugby Union can help the Districts and Zones market the game.
NSW Rugby Union is well placed to provide certain types of assistance to Zones and Districts as they look to grow the game in their area. Whilst NSW Rugby Union resources are limited (particularly in terms of staff members), there are a range of things that can be provided which include:
- Demographic information.
- Information on the schools in their District/Zone and contact information.
- Player numbers/product penetration information.
- Request formats/process for accessing high profile players.
- Access to Project Staff (where appointed).
NSW Rugby Union staff are provided to support development of Rugby in the following districts/zones:
Metropolitan Sydney
- Sydney North (Matt Wilkie – Development Manager, Mark Philp – Development Officer)
- Sydney South/East (Dale Roberson – Development Manager, Lauren Spence – Development Officer)
- Sydney West (Mark Bos – Development Manager, Simon Hackett – Development Officer)
Country NSW
- North Coast (Bruce Frame – Development Manager)
- North Western Region (Adam Crane – Development Manager, Stephen O’Brien – Development Officer)
- Eastern Region (Matt Johnston – Development Manager)
- Central Coast (Sean Feakes – Development Officer)
- Illawarra (Sean Barrett – Development Manager)
- Western Region (Michael Gray – Development Manager)
These staff members can be contacted directly, or alternatively, arrangements can be made through the NSW Development Manager located at the NSW Rugby Union Building - Moore Park in Sydney.
