Benn Robinson started the 2008 season outside the Waratahs starting XV and finished it as the Wallabies first-choice loosehead prop.
Since debuting for the Waratahs in 2006, Robinson’s game has continued to improve to the point he is now an integral part of the squad at Super 14 and Test level in Australia. He is regarded as one of the country’s top scrummagers and has added a quality attacking game to his set piece credentials.
Born on 19 July 1984 in Sydney, Robinson was educated at The King’s School and was a member of the school’s GPS premiership-winning side of 2002 alongside Dean Mumm, Daniel Halangahu and Ben Batger. He represented Australian Schools that year, toured with the Waratahs Development team in 2004 and played for Australian U21s in 2005, before making his Super 14 and Test debuts in 2006.
