Josh Holmes returns to New South Wales in 2010 having made his state debut for the Waratahs as an 18-year-old in 2005. He eventually made his Super 14 debut in 2007, ironically against the Brumbies who he then spent the next two seasons with. Holmes played every match for the Brumbies over the last two years, earning selection for Australia A in 2008, before linking back with the Waratahs ahead of the 2010 season.
