Q: Where can I buy tickets for the HSBC Waratahs Super 14 games?

A: The quickest and easiest way to guarantee your seat at Sydney Football Stadium is to purchase tickets through Ticketek. This can be done online at www.ticketek.com.au, or at any one of Ticketek’s numerous outlets around NSW.

Tickets are sometimes available for sale outside the venue on game day, however HSBC Waratahs matches often sell out in the days and weeks before matches. Your best option is to get in early!

Q: Is there parking at Sydney football stadium and if not, what’s the best way to get there?

A: There is parking available around Sydney Football Stadium, however this is limited and taking public transport is advised.

The following car parks are open on game day:

  • Gold Members Car Park, Sydney Football Stadium
  • Kippax Lake Car Park, Moore Park North
  • Southern Area Car Park, Moore Park South (Opposite the Hordern Pavilion)

Limited pay parking is also available at the Entertainment Quarter multi-level car park, which can be accessed of Lang Road.

Motorists are advised that due to large volumes of traffic trying to get in and out of the Moore Park area on game day, long delays are often experienced on all major routes in the area. This includes the Eastern Distributor from the north.

Far and away the best way to get to Sydney Football Stadium is by public transport. Just twenty minutes by foot from Central Station, the stadium is well served by all major eastern suburbs bus routes, while special game day services are often in put in place for big matches.

 

Q: What is there to do around Sydney Football Stadium before and after Super 14 matches?

A: In short, plenty! Located just south east of Sydney’s CBD, Sydney Football Stadium is a stones throw from both the bars and restaurants of the Entertainment Quarter (formerly known as Fox Studios), as well as being just a short stroll from Oxford Street.

On top of this, there will be plenty of entertainment both in the Sydney Football Stadium precinct pre-match and inside the stadium itself.
