All 2010 memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions:

(a) Fees:

  • Where applicable, the New South Wales Rugby Union (NSWRU) will set the annual renewal (subscription) fee each year. The NSWRU may charge interest and fees on overdue subscriptions.
  • The NSWRU may suspend a Member’s rights while his or her subscription (and any interest or fee) remains unpaid beyond the due date. If the annual subscription is not paid within six months of the due date, the NSWRU may cancel the membership.
  • The NSWRU will set ticket prices each year. The ticketing agency will set a booking fee, processing and mailing fee. These costs are incurred by the Member and are on top of any NSWRU renewal (subscription) and ticket package prices.

(b) Conditions of Purchase:

  • All bookings are final and non-refundable. One (1) package = One (1) seat; there is a limit of four (4) passes/packages per Member, or one (1) Family Package. Only one Membership per form.
  • It is a condition of sale that tickets to NSWRU fixtures may not, without the prior written consent of the NSWRU, be resold at a premium nor used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be denied admission.
  • To qualify for a student membership, you must be the holder of a Full-time Student Card and produce this at the time of purchase and at the gate.
  • Any person seeking a refund must do so in writing, addressed to the Membership Manager. By doing so, the member’s request will be taken in to consideration, however they are not guaranteed a refund.
  • Members are required to notify NSWRU of any change in member contact details, or any relevant information that could affect your NSWRU membership. Update your details online at www.waratahs.com.au

(c) Membership Cards:

  • Issue and Use: Upon purchase of your Membership you will be issued with a Membership Card. This card is issued for identification and seat allocation purposes. On the rear of the card you will find your details and seating allocations as well as a barcode. Your card is your ticket for NSWRU fixtures played in Sydney. On entry to the venue, your card will be scanned. You will be issued a card per seat purchased. If you arrive at a Match that is not included in your membership package, you will not be allowed entry and asked to purchase a ticket or leave the venue. These cards must be carried with you when attending Matches and must be presented upon request.
  • Lost or Stolen Cards: A Member must immediately report a lost or stolen card, as it must be deactivated. A new card will be issued to the Member, upon repayment of the replacement fee of $25.
  • Cards Forgotten on Match Days: The Member will be required to complete the administration formalities and a ‘Day Pass’ will be issued. If a relative or guest is using your card(s) please ensure they have a written letter from you, the Member, providing permission to use your seating for that particular match. Please go to the NSWRU Membership Box Office window at the match venue to speak with a member of the Membership Team.
  • Misuse of Cards: If the NSWRU becomes aware of the misuse of cards, the Member’s rights may be suspended and/or the Membership may be cancelled, at the discretion of the NSWRU
  • Faulty Cards: A Member should advise the Membership Department if a card is faulty and a replacement card will be issued without charge.

(d) Membership Seating:

  • Same seat Allocations: Reserved Seat members from 2009 have priority to their current seat for the 2009 season until Friday 30 October, 2009. After this date, same seat allocations cannot be guaranteed. If your forms are received after the due date your seating will be allocated on a best available basis after Members have been processed.
  • Seating Allocation System for Matches: The order of ticket booking priority for NSWRU fixtures is as follows: NSWRU Life and Waratah Members, Blue Blood Members, True Blue Members, SuperFan Members, Tah Patrol Members, TRYpack Members. If we are unable to meet your request for membership category or seating allocation, we will contact you to discuss further options. Payment of membership must be made at time of application. If request of membership category cannot be met, NSWRU will honour a refund.
  • Sitting With Fellow Members: When booking seats, Members may request that a group of fellow Members and their guests be seated together. For group seating, booking forms for all Members must be submitted together. Please keep in mind that a group seating request may disadvantage your seating allocation. Please do not mix package requests if ordering as a group. i.e. If a Member purchases a True Blue Package and wishes to sit with a Member who purchases a TRYpack package, both Members’ seats will be allocated as a TRYpack package.

(e) Administration of Membership:

  • Transfer of Membership - Season Memberships and seating allocations are non-transferable.
  • Termination of Membership: A Membership may be terminated for failure to pay annual subscriptions or for failure to comply with the conditions set by the NSWRU. A Membership may also be cancelled due to the misconduct of a Member or their guest.
  • Late Renewal of Membership: Members must complete the renewal and priority booking form and send it back to the NSWRU by the due date specified on the form. If a form is received after that date the privileges held by certain Members will no longer be available.

  • Sydney Football Stadium or home Final at ANZ Stadium, Members will be contacted regarding priority booking arrangements. Due to the change of venue and different seating configuration available to NSWRU at ANZ Stadium, ‘same seat allocations’ will not be available at this venue.

(g) Waratah Travel Packages and Away Fixture Tickets:

  • NSWRU, in partnership with We Love Rugby Travel, will endeavour to provide travel packages to HSBC Waratah away fixtures throughout the 2010 season. As these events are not hosted by NSWRU, tickets will be acquired through the hosting union in the best available seating allocation provided to the NSWRU.
