McCaw to make long awaited return against HSBC Waratahs

He hasn't pulled on his boots since guiding New Zealand to victory in the 2011 Rugby World Cup final.  but the All Blacks Rugby World Cup winning captain Richie McCaw will make his long awaited return to action at the Allianz Stadium this Sunday after being included on the Crusaders bench in the team to play NSW this weekend.

Coach Todd Blackadder has included McCaw on the bench.  Dan carter continues to wear No 12 in a star-studded backline that also includes fellow All Blacks Israel Dagg, Robbie Fruean and Zac Guildford.

Tickets for the FxPro Super Rugby round 10 match between the HSBC Waratahs and Crusaders which takes place at the newly named Allianz Stadium in Moore Park on Saturday April 29 (kick off 4.10pm) include the earlier international exhibition Rugby Sevens match between the Qantas Men’s Sevens and New Zealand. 

The Sevens match kicks off a trans-Tasman double header of afternoon Rugby, with Australia and New Zealand playing at 3pm and the HSBC Waratahs v Crusaders game taking place at 4.10pm this Sunday, April 29.  Tickets are available online from Ticketek priced from $20 for adults, $10 for juniors and $50 for a family of four. 

Fans are encouraged to head to Moore Park early to take advantage of the free NSW Rugby Skills Clinic and player signing session taking place from 2pm in the Indoor Cricket Centre (near Gate A, Allianz Stadium).  Full match day information, including travel and transport arrangements, is available online at www.waratahs.com.au under the match day heading.
