The HSBC Waratahs welcomed over 230 children to Allianz Stadium for the annual HSBC Free Kick event that took place earlier this month.
Children of all ages joined members of the HSBC Waratahs squad for a skills and drills session held on the turf at Sydney's famous famous Allianz Stadium.
HSBC Waratahs stars including Benn Robinson, Drew Mitchell, Berrick Barnes and Adam Ashley-Cooper were on hand to teach the enthusiastic youngsters the basics of rugby and most importantly, how to have fun playing the game.
Parents were welcome to watch their kids in action and were event treated to a behind the scenes tour of the change rooms, set up as they would be for match day. With jerseys hanging, Powerade and Body Science products ready to go and the New South Wales flag proudly flying, all had a wonderful time and unique experience.
Each child was presented with sky blue HSBC Free Kick shirt, and invited to a BBQ at the conclusion of the event.
Look out for many of these ‘Future HSBC Waratahs’ out on the pitch in the coming years!
