2017 NSW Rugby Awards - NOMINATE NOW!

On behalf of NSW Rugby Union, it is with great excitement that we introduce the new awards for the 2017 NSW Rugby Awards Night!

From the bush to the beach, across all competitions in NSW, we will be recognising those individuals and clubs who have contributed most to rugby in 2017.

The closing date for all nominations is Monday 14 August, 5pm AEST.



Rugby clubs from all across the state form the fabric of what is NSW Rugby Union. From the bush to the beach, Seniors, Juniors and Sevens clubs keep the grassroots game alive and help develop a love of rugby in their players, coaches, referees, volunteers and supporters. 

This award aims to recognise those exceptional clubs who are innovative and truly growing the game and is open to all clubs from all competitions across NSW.


 

This award is to recognise those players who not only display great talent on the field, but contribute significantly off the field to both their local rugby community and their education and/or employment. 

This award is open to all male players across NSW under the age of 18.




This award is to recognise those players who not only display great talent on the field, but contribute significantly off the field to both their local rugby community and their education and/or employment.

This award is open to all female players across NSW under the age of 18.



This award is to recognise those players who not only display great talent on the field, but contribute significantly off the field to both their local rugby community and their education and/or employment. 

This award is open to all players across NSW between the ages of 18-21.



We know that volunteers are the glue that keep your clubs together so for our 2017 Awards Night we would like to recognise those out there giving their time to keep this great game going! Whether it's running the canteen, pumping up the balls or chasing down sponsors, volunteers are truly valuable for rugby union in NSW. 

This award is open to all volunteers associated with competitions involving competitors under the age of 18.

To be a great rugby coach, you don’t need to have been a great player; love and knowledge of the game are the main ingredients along with a desire to share your passion with players. Helping players develop to achieve their maximum potential and moulding them into a team while teaching them the core values of the game are the key deliverables NSW Rugby Union recognise in top coaches. 

This award is open to coaches across all Junior and School competitions within the state.

Referees and match officials provide an invaluable service to players, coaches and spectators alike. This award aims to recognise those match officials who contribute most positively to community rugby through their service and commitment.

This award is open to all match officials under the age of 18 across all competitions within the state.
