2013 HSBC WARATAHS WORLD OF RUGBY COMPETITION

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. The Promotion commences at 5:00pm AEST on 1nd March 2013 and closes at 09:00pm AEST on 13th July 2013 (“Promotion Period”). The Promoter is HSBC Bank Australia Limited (ABN: 48 006 434 162), 580 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.
3. Entry is open to all Australian residents over the age of 18 years. Employees of the Promoter, its agencies associated with this Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
4. To enter, consumers must be present at one of the following listed Waratahs home ground matches and collect a limited edition 2013 season HSBC branded World of Rugby flag (“Eligible Entrant”) from a HSBC promotional staff member who will be positioned around the grounds of the Allianz Stadium at Moore Park or ANZ Stadium at Homebush (ANZ) two hours and forty minutes prior to match kick-off. At half time all Eligible Entrants will be instructed to clearly display their 2013 season HSBC branded World of Rugby flag. One (1) Eligible Entrant will be randomly selected by the camera crew from the stadium lower bowl section (as per stadium seating plan) at each match and will be displayed on the Allianz or ANZ Stadium big screens with their HSBC branded World of Rugby flag(“Winner”).

5. A total of 65,000 x 2013 season HSBC branded World of Rugby flags will be distributed during the eight (8) home games referred above (see schedule).
6. The Winner will be prompted to attend a specified location at the grounds on the night to meet with an HSBC representative who will record the winner’s entry details. The Winner must retain and present to the HSBC representative their 2013 season HSBC branded World of Rugby flag as proof of entry.
7. A consumer is only permitted a maximum of one entry in the draw per match. Altered or damaged 2012 season HSBC branded fan flags will not be eligible. HSBC Fanbanners from 2008 or 2009 or 2010 or 2011 season HSBC Flash for Cash Waratahs Competition will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
8. The prize is an HSBC World of Rugby experience as detailed in the schedule below.

   The Winner must:

   • be an Australian resident;
   • be 18 years of age or older (If the Winner is under the age of 18, the prize will be given to the Winners parent or guardian); and
   • have a valid and accessible email address.
      
9. Total prize pool value will not exceed $15,210.

    

10. The Winner will be notified in person immediately after being identified on the big screens at the games at Allianz and ANZ Stadium and published in The Australian newspaper, Public Notices section on 21st July, 2013. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize remains unallocated or unclaimed after a period of 3 months from the designated prize draw, the Promoter will contact the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing for advice on the distribution of the prize.
11. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services. If in the event that the prize is not available, for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, a prize of similar theme and value will be provided.
12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses to administer the competition and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised. The Winner agrees that HSBC may use the name, address and photograph of the winner for promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised.
13. A Winner may be liable to declare his/her prize for taxation purposes and is responsible for payment of tax associated with the prize, if any.
14. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless from any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the winner and companion’s acceptance and use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. The Promoter will not be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay not reasonably within their control.
