Jono Lance joined the Waratahs after two seasons with the Reds and now enters his second year with NSW. He has the talent and ability to play at 10, 12, 13 and 15 and is an extremely talented goal kicker.

The former Australian Under 20 and Australian sevens player, Lance made his Super Rugby debut for Queensland in their 2011 title-winning season and earned 21 Super Rugby caps with them. He was the only member of the 2014 playing squad to have won a Super Rugby title previously, and played nine games in the Tahs title-winning campaign.

Jono was born in Canberra and is the son of former Canberra Raiders captain Dean Lance. Currently living in North Bondi, Jono is a graduate of The Southport School and is studying Business Management at Swinburne University.
