NSW Waratahs Under 20s

As part of the NSW Gen Blue Academy, the NSW Under 20s (sometimes referred to as the NSW Colts), is a culmination of the state’s emerging talent. The program is designed to give young players a valuable opportunity to develop their skills to progress along the pathway towards selection for Gen Blue (NSW Waratahs A team) and the NSW Waratahs.

The NSW Under 20s side are the current National Under 20s champions, successfully defending their championship win from 2014 after defeating the Queensland Under 20s in the final match of last year's tournament in Canberra by 31-9.

In 2016 the NSW Gen Blue U20s are set to compete in a new regular weekly U20s competition together with all five Australian Super Rugby teams, in a bid to be crowned Super U20s Championship in 2016.
