Tahs take festive spirit to Sydney Children's Hospital

The NSW Waratahs brought the festive cheer to the kids in the Starlight Room at Sydney Children’s Hospital today.

For Starlight Foundation ambassador and NSW Waratahs player Jed Holloway, the cause is close to his heart.

“It’s huge for me, I lost my cousin when I was fairly young to leukemia and Starlight was a huge influence on his life and also my family’s so now that I am in a position to help out. I try and do that as much as I can and Starlight are great and a very fun foundation as well.”

The players engaged in Christmas karaoke and ginger bread house making with the children.

“It’s coming close to Christmas time, so we are just spreading a bit of Christmas cheer.”

“Any way the team can help out and change their day as well as changing our boys’ days as well, we do have it very good as rugby players and we’re living the dream and some people here don’t have the luxury to say the same.”
